The city of the High Sea Place High Sea The great cold lake of the Frozen Highlands, a sheet of dark water lying far above the level of any coast, ringed by stone shores and thin air., on the eastern shore of the highlands' great cold lake. In AC 50 it is the roof-city of the world as its people reckon it: the highest market, the thinnest air, and a lake horizon at an altitude where horizons feel like administrative errors.
