The Rift Foundry
A tall, circuit-like foundry wedged into a narrow volcanic rift, lava cracks glowing down the walls on either side. Its stacked bays are stained and encrusted yet still burning with cold light, run off the vent heat around it. Wardens lunge from the dark at its flanks, jaws open, holding the trench against anything that comes too close.

- An older foundry pattern, grimy and encrusted, running autonomously off the rift's heat.
- Built directly into a lava-lit fault, hot fissures framing it on both sides.
- Defended by aggressive serpent-wardens; the most openly hostile-feeling node of the network.
