The garden-city of inland Eldaara Place Eldaara The equatorial middle continent of Elshore, between Tarkdaara to the north and Khaldaara to the south., terraced shallowly across a green plain, famous in AC 50 for fruit, shade-cloth markets, and the largest arag-tree avenue in the east. It is a soft city in a soft country, which the old world apparently also wanted, because it built one here.

- Iru People Iru The progenitors, and the only naturally evolved people of Elshore.-founded as a plains station; its shade-colonnades run for miles and hold the noon heat off the markets.
- In AC 50 it is the fruit-basket of the eastern belt, garrisoned by one bored company and governed mostly by orchard-law.
- The arag avenue predates every record: the trees are replanted in the same sockets, generation after generation.
